I stumbled about your blog through a post about Tuohy and really appreciate the well written feminist articles about intersectionality as well. I held my breath the whole time i read this piece. I felt every moment of fear or concern. I needed to read this today to give me motivation to keep writing, to keep fighting. It’s a bleak world sometimes when trying to create change but if I can prevent any other woman from having one second like this it will be worth it.
You’re strong and amazing! These experiences are so sadly universal. Men are taught and later teach horrible things and interactional styles. With powerful voices, like yours, hopefully enough hearts and minds will be touched and the mistreatment that you and so many others experience will be a thing of the past. Thanks for sharing your stories and voice.
